The Taylor House

The Taylor House is approximately 1900SF per floor.  We are renovating both floors to be independent suites.  It is on a 5-acre lot backing onto the bike/recreation trail network of Pidherny.  Rent is being determined but includes snow clearing.  Both suites will be provided unfurnished.  Anticipated rental rates are $3000 for the main floor suite and $2000 for the basement suite.  Utilities by tenants shared 60/40.

Basement Suite

The basement suite has 2 bedrooms, 1 washroom, a mudroom, a kitchen, laundry, and a living/dining room.  PDF plan attached.  The basement has a 2nd washroom and a 3rd bedroom – these are flexible and can be part of the basement or upstairs rental, depending on how the interior locking doors are set up.  We are renovating to make things light and bright.  The basement suite has 2 large windows in the living area and kitchen (40x86 inches).   Each bedroom also has a large window (48x30).  The living area will have an exterior door to a patio area.  An additional exterior entry door is the main entry from where cars park.  There are lots of parking rooms off the street.

Main Floor Suite

The upstairs has 3 bedrooms, a 2-1/2 washroom, kitchen, dining room, living room, and laundry with a single-car garage (16x20).  Lots of additional parking off the street.  We are renovating the washrooms and bedrooms and redoing paint, trim, etc., at the moment.   The upstairs has the option of adding the additional basement bedroom and adjacent washroom.

Shop

The shop is not for rent and is used by the owners.
